Yes, the 36″ screen actually measures 38″ in width. This is so the screen can be attached to each side of the doorjamb with 1″ wide hook and loop strips that have been sewn onto the sides of the screen. The screen will not be as secure, so we do not recommend this for high traffic doors. For high traffic, odd size doors, we recommend ordering a custom Magnetic Screen Door. Order Custom Screens here.
Cleaning is very easy and simple.
It is an idea to wash your new window screen once every 1-2 months or even more if you find the mesh is dusty.
The way to clean your screen is by placing your screen against the wall or even hanging it on a clothesline, and simply hosing it down with water.
Alternatively, you can use a soft sponge or cloth, with some gentle detergent.
After washing simply let the screen drip dry.
General cleaning of your Magnetic Window screen will not affect the magnetism.
Some of our customers also like to quickly vacuum the screen while it is still on the window. This works well also!
Yes, this is exactly what I did with my doors. I just attached the top velcro screen door along with the door frame, in between the doors and storm doors, and can prop the storm door open when I need it.
Yea, you can fold it or roll it up. It’s very flexible.
I'M In A Rental... When I Leave, Will I Be Able To Remove The Tape Without Damage To The Door Frame?
Yes, this wouldn't cause damage if you wanted to take it off.
Yes. We installed it on the inside of the door frame and it does not interfere with closing the door.
It feels very smooth and very good, looks very durable.
Yes, the Velcro be easy to tear off, or you can direct tear off the velcro tape, when next summer coming just need to use a new Velcro to install, it’s will be very easy
The screen comes with a pre applied adhesive and at times you may need to use some or all of the push pins. Probably depends on the number of people going in and out. I used the adhesive and also used all the push pins for a better fit. The small push pin holes should be easy to cover.

Yes. Typically, customers put APO in the City field and AE or AP in the State field. You may also ship to a PO Box.

If your door width does not fall within 1″ (smaller or larger) of our standard screen widths, or your door is shorter or taller than one of our available sizes, you will need a custom Screen. Please see our Custom Screen Page.
No, a Magnetic Screen Door is not a security door and should not be used where you do not want small children, or pets to go out.
Please measure your doorjamb and not the door itself. For the height, measure from the top of the doorjamb, to the top of the floor plate, or threshold. For the screen to work properly it must hang just above the floor plate so that it can swing freely and snap closed. If the screen drags it will not close properly. Please see our Installation Page.
